Who Uses Takedown?

We're often asked "what other schools use Takedown?" to which we reply "the smart ones." Well, we don't really say that.

In the 2015-2016 scholastic wrestling season, more than 300 schools used Takedown Scoring and Stats to score wrestling matches. Roughly 44% of the schools (minimum 20 matches) scored between 101 and 300 matches last year. A substantial portion of users scored more than 300 matches:

One motivated user scored 950 matches last season.  I'm sure they appreciate the recently released subscriptions for scoring unlimited matches!

Thirty nine states are represented and the top ten states by matches scored are:

  1. Ohio
  2. Illinois
  3. California
  4. Kansas
  5. Pennsylvania
  6. Oklahoma
  7. Washington
  8. Michigan
  9. Minnesota
  10. Wisconsin

The state with the largest number of Takedown users, Ohio (very smart folks), has thirty seven teams using Takedown.  Here's a partial list of wrestling programs -- universities, schools and clubs -- using Takedown.

So far this season (since 9/1), Takedown users have added 350 dual meets and tournaments to their schedules with over 100 events added in the last week. Wrestling draws near, time to get ready.

Good luck this season!
