Most of the LevelChanger crew was in St. Louis watch the NCAA Division I Championships. We were joined by wrestlers, coaches, a corporate partner and grandma. A geographically diverse bunch, with half from Pennsylvania, half from California and we let an Iowan in for a bit, too. We were there all three days, six sessions.
If you've not been to an NCAA Wrestling Championship, we hope you'll get the chance down the road. The wrestling is, of course, fantastic and St. Louis is a good site -- not too expensive, good food, plenty of hotels (and Airbnb) and easy access to the Scottrade Center.
We brought our "go bag" for scoring some matches -- we did the Championship Semis and Finals and posted to Takedown LIVE -- at the direction of our VP of Scoring Operations. In between sessions, we met with a prospective partner (popular wrestling website publisher) about posting Takedown LIVE results in real-time on their website. Exciting! Stay tuned for more news on that front.
We sampled the local cuisine: a neighborhood gem on "The Hill" called Zia's and a downtown BBQ joint called Sugar Fire Smoke House. Highly recommended.
