External Camera

Using a bluetooth keyboard is easier than using Apple’s on-screen virtual keyboard.
Table-top Stand
A table-top iPad stand reduces hand fatigue and jitter when scoring and video recording a match. Very useful in a dual meet setting when your scorer is typically seated at the scoring table.
Monopod
Monopod
For a tournament, using a monopod-mounted iPad is convenient and practical. Hold the monopod with one hand score with the other. Rotate the monopod to keep wrestling action in the video recording viewport. Small footprint, unlike a tripod.

Use this type of mount to securely attach an iPad to a monopod or tripod. Remember to purchase a size that’s compatible with your iPad.

Project Takedown’s wrestling scoreboard to any HDMI-equipped display. Connect an Apple TV to your display with a standard HDMI cable. Connect your Takedown iPad to the Apple TV over Wifi. On your iPad, turn on AirPlay and select the Apple TV.

Project Takedown’s wrestling scoreboard to any HDMI-equipped display. Connect an Apple AV Adapter to your iPad USB-C or Lightning connector. Then connect that Apple AV Adapter to any display with a standard HDMI cable. Far easier than using Apple TV and less expensive.
iPad Charger
Charging a bunch of iPads with single socket wall chargers is a pain. Thankfully, there are multi-unit chargers out there that are inexpensive and do the job. Grab a few six inch charging cables; they're cheap and sold by many vendors.

When your iPad drops on the floor, the screen can crack or shatter. You don't need to spend a fortune on a protective enclosure! You'll find a wide array of cost-effective iPad enclosures on Amazon and eBay.
Portable Battery and Charger
Dollar for dollar, the most useful thing in our magic kit. When your iPad is about to give up the power ghost, you'll thank goodness for a portable battery. Cheap, sturdy, small and easy to use. Get one or two, keep them charged and throw one in your pack when you go to your next tournament.
Merge Reports into single pdf
Takedown's reports generate a lot of PDF files, one for each report type. Users often want a single PDF containing multiple reports, say for a single event or an entire season. PDF Merge is a free online website for combining multiple PDFs into a single PDF.
