In October of 2022, we announced that iOS 12 would no longer be supported after the 2022 - 2023 season.
As of June 1, 2024, Takedown version 3.2.5 — the last release that runs on iOS 12 — will no longer synchronize with your online database. This means that after May 31,2024, any data entered into Takedown 3.2.5 will be forever orphaned on the iPad on which 3.2.5 is running and not be available to other iPads logged in to your Takedown account.
We strongly recommend stopping use of Takedown 3.2.5 well in advance of June 1, 2024.
The iPad models that are orphaned at iOS 12 are:
iPad Air (1st generation)
iPad Mini 2
iPad Mini 3
These models can not upgrade to an iOS version later than iOS 12 and, therefore, are stuck at Takedown 3.2.5. If you are using Takedown with one of these iPad models, you should plan to stop by June 1, 2024.
All other iPad models can upgrade to iOS 15+ which is the minimum iOS level for the current Takedown release.
