When we know about a problem in Takedown, it goes on the new Known Issues page in the Help Center, with the date we found it, any workaround and what we are doing about it. The first entry: the Scoreboard doesn't work on iPadOS 27.
The list is below and always current. Check it before an event, and before you update your iPad.

Scoreboard on iPadOS 27
The Scoreboard is the Takedown display on a TV or monitor connected to the scoring iPad. It doesn't work on iPads running iPadOS 27. Until the fix reaches the App Store, run the Scoreboard from an iPad on iPadOS 26. The list above shows when the fix is available; then update Takedown and the Scoreboard works again.
