Version 3.5 and Takedown Advantage
We have two exciting pieces of news to start off the season!
Release 3.5
The newest version of Takedown Scoring and Stats is 3.5. This is a major release which all users should download.
New features include:
Greatly improved Apple Subscription management’
Time-based Free Trial for unlimited scoring and video for 14 days.
This release contains mostly under-the-covers technical changes none of which should have an operational impact on users.
However — and this is important — when you log in to release 3.5 for the first time using your Takedown email/password, the app will begin reformatting your data and you will see a notice to this effect on the screen. Pay attention to that screen, it says two critical things:
Do not navigate away from that screen until the process is complete and you are in Takedown and see your Seasons. If you don’t do this, the reformatting process can stall with an unpredictable outcome.
If you are using more than one iPad, upgrade all of your iPads to release 3.5. Once you’ve logged into release 3.5 on one iPad and your data is reformatted, release 3.4 will no longer work for your account
