Release 3.5 · Takedown Advantage
Two pieces of news to start the 2025–26 season: Takedown Scoring and Stats 3.5, and Takedown Advantage, now in the Takedown Store.
Release 3.5
Takedown 3.5 was a major release with mostly technical changes under the surface. The two visible improvements:
- Greatly improved Apple subscription management.
- A time-based free trial for scoring and video recording, replacing the old activity-based trial.
Version 3.5 has since been succeeded by Takedown 4.0. The final 3.5 release is 3.5.24, supported through March 31, 2027; see Takedown 3.5.24 Is the Final 3.5 Release.
Takedown Advantage
Takedown Advantage is an affordable dual-sided, mat-side scoreboard for any team. It mounts two standard monitors back to back on a tripod stand and shows the scoreboard from Takedown Scoring and Stats, or from any other software-driven scoreboard such as Trackwrestling. The complete setup costs well under $500, and much less if you already have the monitors.
